Maybe I shouldnt get so drunk at gigs. Or maybe I should....who knows?! but im gonna keep doing it.
Almost2much rocked what was left of the civic audience (we had to swap and go on last, which sucked, but such is life). We blasted out a quick set, and left. there werent many hijinx - as far as I remember - but I carried on drinking heavily till 2am, so I wouldnt.
Our "first gig boys" performed excellently. Considering we havent been together for too long, we did well on the whole. my mic lead kept coming out, which covered for me forgetting the words (I like to think that it confused me, and made me forget the words, but as alan partridge would say..."That would be bulllllshhhit")

11-07-07 - Connahs Quay, this friday!
Almost 2 Much are playing their first gig in a long time this friday the 13th (ooooohhh! watch anything and everything go wrong, live on stage!), at the Civic Hall in Connahs Quay
We're playing 3rd out of 4 bands (Bystander, NEB & Double Entity).
30 minutes sets each (but we'll have to stall for at least 13 minutes to fill the time, so thats gonna be fun! What could happen? free cds? spank marc? live sex acts? erm...monkey tennis?!)
A2M will also be bringing you:
- A New Pop Cover!
- A New Song Altogether!
- A 2nd Guitarist!
- Potentially no bassist!
Isnt it exciting?! Be there or...well, you dont want to find out. The doors open at 7*. 14+ welcome (to the gig, you perverts!)
* THE Doors wont be opening the night by playing at 7. That just means that the front doors to the venue will be not be closed from 7 onwards,and you can enter, and start drinking...
13-05-07 - almost2much is NOT dead!!
Well, its been a while, but now, we are back!!!
Gavs gone, MJs gone, but in their place, 2 shining beacons of hope, in the form of Rob (Guitar) and Bob (Drums).
Our first practice together was sunday. We got 2 songs almost perfect, so really, we couldnt be happier! :)
We WILL be doing the DeeCAT festival on the 9th june. Its gonna take some work, and we may end up completely dying on our arse, but I hope not!!

14-02-07 - Marc's Gig Blog - DEECat, Connah's Quay, Sat 13th Jan
"AND NOW..DIRECT FROM HELL....ITS ALMOST TOO MUCH" In case you're wondering, this is the original a2m Marc, not that other guy who came poncing in, trying to steal my name. Anyway, gig last night. I will use one word ... ace :) We were on third out of 6 or 7, so there was a nice crowd jumping about. We only had 15 minutes so we couldn't talk much, and we could only squeeze in 5 songs, these were Messed Up

She's Gone She's Gone and Back For Good had never played to people before (well, Back For Good has been played to a few people when Take That did/do it, but ours is better) so it was good to bring them out. I tried to do a Busted style rockstar jump during the intro to She's Gone, which failed as i ended up on my knees, right next to MJ's crotch, i then had to get up and use his mic. Luckily tho, most people thought i had purposely done a 'power-slide', so i got away with that. Good gig, good times. And we sold loads of merch so it was very sucessful. And, MJ (or 'Marc' as he calls himself) entered the band seemlessly (sic). (editors note - "steve" - if you will : this makes no sense..its seamlessly, you've used sic wrong, and its supposed to be in square brackets. 3-0 to me.) 8 out of 10, (it would be 9 or 10 but we didn't play everysong perfectly, nearly tho) I will end this, with 3 pieces of information 1 - Dave, from Panic Promotions, said we performed a 'masterful set'. 2 - This gig was used to judge what order the DEECat festival bands will play at the festival in June (I think). We came 3rd or 4th, so will be playing 3rd or 4th from the top, which is ok. We're mainly pleased because we beat Double Entity. Oh yeah! 3 - The evening culminated in me, covered in beer after David Platt from Bystander poured it all over me, dry humping a brick wall. I think it was dry humping anyway, it was definatly at least humping. The end

Sorry for the lack of news..To sum up. Pete left. Marc Jones took his place. A2m is gigging again starting jan 2007, with a super new cover.
